Dedicated to the memory of Paul Hills

This site is a tribute to Paul who passed away on Thursday 11th August 2022.

Paul was admitted into hospital on the 3rd June. He went to St Barnabas Hospice 24th June where they looked after Paul so well that he was able to come home to us. We dared to hope..  He passed away at home where he wanted to be, with his family.

He was a kind and sensitive soul who will be greatly missed by all that loved him. We loved him so much.

Thoughts

Paul, or as my parents called you, PJ! My childhood is filled with great memories with you. I could list so many but these come to mind whenever I think of you. You had a Motocross bike as a teen (I was about 9 at the time) and you would let me go on the back a few times. The first time you got shouted at by my mum because I didn't have a helmet and you was going too fast but the second time you decided we wouldn't tell my mum and it would be our secret. I let your ferrets out once by accident and you was so angy with me. You shouted to your mum "you should fucking tame her like my ferrets are" and I never went near them again after that as I was petrified of being tamed! The kitchen cupboards and your bedroom was always filled with Frazzles and tango cans. I took 2 packets off Frazzles once and you came home, came into the lounge where I was sleeping for the night and you asked if I took them.... I said no... You then looked beside me where 2 empty frazzle packets lay and said it's ok if you took them just as long as it wasn't Nina! You would call me your cousin, you would talk about shotguns and snakes to me, you laughed at me when I got a gap tooth, you would simply shrug your shoulders at me in the mornings and you loved to talk to me about my dad. I love you man. Thanks for being you Xx
